    Our Goals 2005 - 2006

    Presidential Goals


    • To follow closely as possible the Rotary International Guidelines for Leadership Development and Long-Term planning. Activate the Advisory Committee to oversee this effort.
    • To follow the new committee structural guide lines realizing the importance of Rotary Foundation, Membership Development, Publicity, Administration and Club Services.
    • To strive for excellence in developing the four avenues of service: Community Services, Club services, Vocational Services and International Services.
    • To encourage/participate in the development of President Stenhammar's program of literacy and education, water and sanitation (Earth) protection and world peace and health initiatives;
    • To encourage the participation of each (all) club members in at least one or more Club service activity

    Committee and Club Goals

  1. MEMBERSHIP
    1. Enrich retention and increase membership to 55 by year end
    2. Develop comprehensive membership plan and submit to district
    3. Conduct community classification survey and update roster and submit to district
    4. Conduct classifications talks by each new member
  2. PUBLIC RELATIONS
    1. Maintain updated website
    2. Publish newsletter each month and maintain club scrapbook
    3. Maintain monthly media coverage
    4. Maintain Historical archives
  3. ROTARY FOUNDATION and International Services
    1. Maintain 100% Paul Harris Sustaining and strive for 100% Paul Harris Fellowship
    2. Support various youth projects including, GSE Ambassadorial Scholarship and foreign student RCC Scholarship
    3. Contribute $100.00 per member to Rotary Foundation
    4. Support International matching grant program
    5. Continued support of Polio Eradication
  4. ADMINISTRATION: Club Services
    1. Achieve 87% club attendance by year end
    2. Enjoy fellowships and socials and family awareness
    3. Increase fund drive by 10%
    4. Magazine Report each month
    5. Support monthly themes with programs
    6. Attend and report on Rotary District and International meetings
  5. SERVICE PROJECTS:
    1. Support Camp Carefree and other Humanitarian projects
    2. Conduct hand-on service: city park cleanup and refurbishment
    3. Participate in Earth Day and other projects to benefit environment
    4. Support Interact and Shadow Day activities and scholarship selections
    5. Assist the community in job training, career development
    6. Celebrate Family Day and Month
    7. Award Rotarian and non-Rotarian of the Year
    8. Publish volunteer organization list for community leaders

  1. Membership
    1. Enrich membership retention and increase total membership to 50 by year end
    2. Conduct community classification survey and evaluate current club roster
    3. Present monthly information 'Rotary Minute'
  2. Club Service
    1. 75%-80% attendance; newsletter to promote attendance/interest
    2. Build fellowship with socials & mixed seating at meetings
    3. +10% increase in Fund drives income
    4. Encourage reading magazine The Rotarian
    5. Support monthly Rotary themes
    6. Attend Rotary International Meeting and Summarize history of the club
  3. Community Service
    1. Support Camp Carefree and other Humanitarian projects
    2. Involvement in re-cycle and other projects to benefit Environment; Participate in "Earth day" for community development
    3. Support Interact and Rotaract, Scholarship selection and other public school support activities
  4. Vocational Service and Awareness
    1. Assist community in job training, career development for new and/or displaced workers
    2. Support school Shadow Day and Annual scholarship support to RCC
    3. Provide information pertaining to Vocations at work and Vocational awareness and how it pertains to the qualities of Rotary life and recognize (award) vocational leaders in the community
    4. Encourage and survey (And publish information) all Rotary members to serve in volunteer capacity in the Community — troubled youth, medical and housing needs, etc
  5. International Service
    1. Continued support of global youth projects including Ambassadorial Student Program, foreign student RCC scholarship
    2. Polio Eradication and Project Mercy
    3. World Community Service expansion with countries such as Russia, Estonia and Moscow
    4. Support the Rotary Foundation and strive to achieve 100% Paul Harris Fellowship of club membership
    5. Support the Group Study Exchange and invite the RCC exchange group to visit our club

New 2002-2003 Goals
  1. Enhance Fellowship of our club
    1. Club social such as covered dish meal at a Rotarian's home.
    2. Schedule at least 2 meetings with spouses and special friends invited.
    3. New Game: Rotary Wheel of Misfortune.
  2. Enhance Club Operations
    1. Initiate an Internet site for our club.
    2. Increase membership by net 10%.
    3. Download the New Member Orientation program and give to new members.
    4. Meet criteria for Governor's Gold Club Award.
  3. International Service
    1. Sponsor international teachers at county schools.
  4. Community Service
    1. Coordinate Adopt-A-Highway program.
  5. Membership
    1. Increase membership by 10%.
    2. Increase attendance to 80%.
  6. Increase participation in International and District Activities
    1. Promote theme "Sow the Seeds of Love".
    2. Attend District Conference and other meetings.
  7. International Projects
    1. Polio Education Program.

2002-2003 Rotary 7690 District Goals

Club Service

  • Increase club membership (as of 7/1/02) by 10% net
  • Charter three new clubs in our district: can be new Rotary Club, Rotaract or Interact
  • Attendance: Individual Rotarian: miss no more than ONE meeting EACH month that is not made up; Club: average at least 75% at club meetings
  • Each club have at least ONE representative at each major district event: PETS, District Assembly, District Conference and Foundation Banquet
  • Each club send 10% of its membership to the District Conference at Sea Trail in April, 2003
  • Each club have ONE program for each special emphasis month during the Rotary year

Rotary Foundation

  • Each Rotarian contribute ONE hundred dollars ($100) to become Sustaining ember of the Rotary Foundation
  • Each Rotarian contribute or pledge at least ONE hundred dollars ($100) to Polio Eradication Campaign to raise final $80 million needed
  • Each Area secure ONE (1) major donor, five (5) new benefactors and five (5) new Banquet Society members

International

  • Each area submit ONE application for outbound GSE team to Nigeria in May, 2003
  • Host for inbound GSE team from Nigeria in April 2003;
    One club or One group of clubs in Areas 1 - 3 for ONE week
    Two club or two groups of clubs in Areas 4 - 6 for two weeks
    One club or one group of clubs in Areas 7 - 10 for one week
  • Each Area submit ONE applicant for either a full-year Ambassadorial Scholarship or a three-month Cultural Scholarship
  • Each Area submit ONE applicant for outbound Youth Exchange student and host ONE inbound Youth Exchange student
  • At least ONE out of two clubs in each Area participate in a World Community Service project

Community/Vocational

  • Each area submit at least ONE applicant to each of our Youth Activity Programs-Youth Leadership Camp and World Affairs Seminar
  • Average One Hundred dollars ($100) per member donation to Community Service
  • Each club sponsor a Shadow Day for high school students
